AgXeed continues to show that autonomous technology can compete in broad acre farming.
The AgXeed AgBot T2-7 SERIES, working in combination with the Väderstad Carrier XL 625, achieved an impressive 80hectares in just 20hours on 2 fields – proving that autonomy is ready to take up the competition with conventional tractors in the field.
This run was completed from the 16th – 17th of December 2025 in the Uckermark region in North-Eastern Germany just a month after its official introduction on the Agritechnica.
With its challenging field shapes including landscape elements and hills, this run was performed under real life conditions on two different fields on loamy sandy soil.
With a powerful 230 hp diesel-electric drivetrain, the AgBot T2-7 SERIES delivers high output at working speeds between 9 and 12 km/h.
Thanks to its track system, traction remains high even in challenging conditions, keeping the machine moving steadily where wheeled tractors may struggle. Despite its pulling power, soil impact stays low. The large contact surface of the tracks results in very low ground pressure, helping to protect soil structure and safeguard future yields.
The AgBot T2-7 SERIES is designed to directly compete with a standard tractor for key field applications. It can carry out soil cultivation, seedbed preparation, seeding, and stubble cultivation, or mulching fully autonomously.
In this case, combined with a 6-metre Väderstad Carrier XL 625 and the ability to work consistently 24 hours a day, this setup ensures maximum effectiveness and efficiency when time windows are tight.
Planning and control are handled through the AgXeed TraXwise planning portal. Farmers can pre-plan the complete task in advance and monitor the AgBot in real time, giving full transparency and confidence while the AgBot does the work.
More hectares covered, less stress, and better care for the soil – that’s autonomous farming – and it is here today!
