VCU
Vehicle Control Unit
Smarter fleet. Smarter farming.
The Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) connects your existing fleet with TraXwise, turning standard vehicles into part of one smart system. Mounted on top of the cab and connected via ISOBUS TIM it is more than a steering system. The VCU ensures your fleet can run highly automated pre-planned operations exactly as intended.

Plan, monitor and execute every vehicle in your fleet exactly as you inted by retrofitting your machinery

Connected to TraXwise, making every vehicle becomes part of the same ecosystem: planned, monitored, and executed exactly as you intended.

The whole fleet connected via ISOBUS TIM and brand independent.
One ecosystem for your entire fleet
The Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) is a compact retrofit module that makes your existing tractors part of AgXeed’s highly automated ecosystem.
Mounted on top of the cab and connected via ISOBUS TIM, it links the tractor’s controls to TraXwise. This way, standard machines can carry out pre-planned operations highly automated.
How it all works
- Pre-plan operations, driving lines, and implement and headland sequences in TraXwise
- Send them directly to the tractor via the VCU
- The VCU takes over steering, vehicle and implement control through ISOBUS TIM
- Execution, monitoring, and data flow back into TraXwise in real time
Are you ready?
- To pre-plan every operation in detail in advance (both route and implements)
- To pre-plan in one place
- To one connected ecosystem
- For consistent execution, exactly as intended
- For less stress and more efficiency
- For live monitoring of your whole fleet
- For one simple, farmer-friendly system
FAQ's
Which tractor functions can I control with the VCU?
To control machine functions via the VCU, both the VCU and the tractor must have the corresponding functionality enabled within ISOBUS TIM. The VCU is capable of controlling steering, ground speed, hitch height (front/rear), PTO (front/rear), and hydraulic valves. Depending
Is a driver still needed?
Correct. A driver must initiate the task and remain on-site to monitor the process and ensure situational safety.
Can I use the VCU with any vehicle?
The VCU interacts with the machine via ISOBUS TIM. Consequently, this functionality must be both available and activated on the vehicle. To verify if your tractor is TIM-ready or to activate the license, please consult your local tractor dealer.
