VCU

To control a functionality by the VCU both, the VCU and the tractor, need that functionality within ISOBUS TIM enabled. The VCU is able to control steering, speed, hitch height (front/rear), pto (front/rear) and hydraulic valves. Depending on the tractor all of those or a selection of this can be controlled and used to execute a pre-planned task.

Yes, a driver is needed to start the task and also to supervise the process and the surroundings.

The VCU interacts with the vehicle via ISOBUS TIM. Because of this ISOBUS TIM needs to be available and activated on the vehicle. To check if your tractor has TIM activated or is able to, please contact your tractor dealer.
