We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Software Engineer Frontend. In this role, you’ll play a key part in developing the next generation of our TraXwise platform, the online platform in the AgXeed ecosystem that helps farmers embrace the future of agriculture with smart, autonomous technology. TraXwise is the application where our customers manage, plan and monitor their machines, fields and tasks.
What you’ll do as Software Engineer Frontend at AgXeed
As Software Engineer Frontend, you build fast, user-friendly, reliable web applications using modern techniques (React) and best practices.
You’ll be part of a young and growing dev team. TraXwise is actively being built: you’ll have the opportunity to build from the ground up and make real architectural decisions. You’ll also think along on tools and processes, ensuring the platform is not just functional, but future-proof. You keep a close eye on performance, analyze bottlenecks with your team, and continuously improve stability, speed and user experience.
You’ll be working with the following tools, technologies and processes:
- React, Vite
- Typescript / Javascript
- HTML / CSS (SASS/SCSS/CSS-in-JS)
- API-driven development (HTTP, REST, optionally Websockets, GraphQL)
- Unit tests and end-to-end-tests (Playwright)
- Storybook
- Mapbox
- Git
- CI/CD (Github Actions)
- Figma
What we’re looking for:
- You have at least 3 years of experience in modern frontend development with React in a professional environment
- You have experience with state management, API integrations and working with real-time data
- You care about code quality and show that in your structure, tests and reviews
- You use AI (LLMs) effectively, responsibly and sustainably in your work (no vibecoding)
- You have solid communication skills in English; and Dutch or German
- You have knowledge of UX/UI patterns and accessibility
- You’re available for at least 32 hours per week
- Experience with map integrations and visualisations (such as Google Maps, Mapbox), GeoJSON etc. is a plus
