At AgXeed, we are shaping the future of farming with smart, autonomous technology while keeping both feet firmly on the ground. Everything we do starts with respect: for farmers, for the land and for the generations that depend on both.
By combining advanced technology with real agricultural insight, we create practical and reliable solutions that reduce workload and complexity, allowing farmers and growers to focus on what really matters.
Our promise is simple: Freedom to Farm. Power to Grow.
We are driven by our mission to give farmers the control, freedom, and flexibility to work on their own terms. Our autonomous solutions provide the insights and confidence needed to make better decisions every day.
We believe in working together with farmers, our team, and the wider agricultural community to build a stronger, more independent, and more sustainable future for agriculture.
What will you do as a Test & Validation Engineer at AgXeed?
As a Test & Validation Engineer, you make sure our machines, software and systems do what they are designed to do. You will test and validate new machines, prototypes and functionalities and verify that they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
You will look at the complete system. Mechanics, electronics, controls and software all come together in our autonomous machines. You will test robot software, route-planning software and various machine subsystems.
You will prepare test plans and procedures, build test setups where necessary and determine the appropriate measurement methods and equipment. You will then analyse test data and measurement results, investigate deviations, failures and performance issues, and work to understand what is happening within the system and why.
You will work closely with our Engineering teams. You will discuss test results with engineers, contribute ideas for testing new functionalities and propose technical improvements based on your findings.
You will also help us continuously improve the way we test our products by developing better test methods, creating reproducible tests and improving our test setups.
What do we expect you to bring?
- You have a technical MBO+/HBO level of education or equivalent working and thinking level, for example in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a comparable field.
- You have knowledge of mechanical, electrical and software systems.
- You have experience testing and validating technical systems.
- You are comfortable working with measurement equipment and test setups.
- You enjoy investigating why a system does – or does not – behave as expected.
- You can analyse test data and measurement results and translate them into clear conclusions.
- An affinity with robotics, autonomous systems or agricultural machinery is a plus.
- You work accurately and systematically and document test results and findings clearly.
- You have a hands-on mindset while also enjoying in-depth technical analysis.
- You enjoy working closely with engineers and other technical colleagues.
- You are able to work independently as well as within a project team.
- You can communicate effectively in both Dutch and English.
