How does the initial setup process look like?

Our distribution partners will first survey your field by hand of GNSS technology. Afterwards they will upload the geofences into you personal AgXeed portal account. Once you log into the portal, your AgBots are already in there. To complete the story, our distribution partners will also digitize your implements, which will then be virtually connected to your AgBots in the portal. Now you are ready to set up your first tasks.

How long in advance can I plan tasks for the AgBots?

Setting up tasks does not require long and can be performed prior to performing the task. However, it is also possible to plan the task way before the work must be done and save it for later. Planned tasks can eventually be sent to the machine at any time when it is connected to the internet. In this way, workload can be distributed, and a farmer will be fully prepared at times of peak labor.

In which conditions does the connection work well?

When there is sufficient satellite coverage and coverage for a mobile internet connection to receive correction data, the AgBot will be able to perform its routing in full autonomy mode. When the mobile connection is lost, a buffer capacity of up to 20 minutes is covered. When the connection is not re-established, the task will be stopped. The AgBots contain multiple receivers containing various correction techniques which makes it possible to create redundancy in times of connection failures.
