The Role:
As an HR Manager at AgXeed, you are an essential link in our growing team. Employees work on-site as well as remotely from various countries.
You ensure that our personnel policy comply with the latest laws and regulations and play an important role in recruitment and absenteeism management. You will share your HR knowledge within the management team in a relevant and clever way.
What will you do?
You are responsible for creating and executing the HR strategy and plan, aligned with the company’s business goals. You will build a strong HR foundation, advise founders and the management team on HR topics and legal risks, and guide management from an HR perspective. You ensure a strategic workforce approach, keeping employee performance and satisfaction in focus at all times. Also the practically side of HR, like the practically things around on- and offboarding. You handle recruitment independently, ensure compliance with labor laws and HR regulations, and coordinate HR administration and payroll processes, stepping in when necessary. You also work on safety issues, such as maintaining the RI&E, and, due to the company’s small size, take on organizational and facility tasks beyond traditional HR responsibilities. In short, it’s a broad, hands-on role where you do whatever is needed to help AgXeed grow.
About you?
- Good and open communication skills in at least Dutch and English.
- Makes matters open to constructive discussion and comes up with concrete simple and concrete proposals, providing sufficient explanation to non-HR stakeholders.
- Structured, to the point, discipline and patience if needed. A task-oriented person.
- You have at least 5 years of experience
- You understand your advisory role, listen, connect, and work towards shared goals, acting as the glue that holds the organization together by making tensions and issues discussable in an informal and tactful way. Courage and tact to challenge in an effective way.
- You take the lead in (HR) projects
- Pro-active approach and hands on.
- You thrive in a standalone HR role without feeling isolated, maintaining strong collaboration with colleagues and management.
- You work in a no-nonsense environment with many technicians, effortlessly connecting with them and providing support wherever needed.
