Who is AgXeed B.V?

AgXeed is a scale-up company in the agricultural sector. We develop, manufacture and sell autonomous agricultural vehicles including a cloud platform with the aim of making farmers work more sustainably and economically by means of smaller, more efficient and intelligent machines. To achieve this, we use the most modern technologies and cloud solutions.
As a service technician, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and technical support to our customers and dealers throughout Europe.

What will you do as Service Technician at AgXeed?

  • Remotely analyzing and solving of technical and application issues
  • Maintenance and repair of robot tractors on-site at customer and dealer locations
  • Training customers and dealers on the use of our robot tractors
  • Providing support for installations and upgrades
  • Keeping service reports and documentation up to date
  • Communicating with the technical support team and production department for further assistance with technical issues
  • Contributing to the development of new products and services by providing feedback on customer needs and market trends
  • Providing demonstrations of AgXeed’s AgBots at farms and exhibitions
  • Your key focus region and place of employment will be the UK

What do we want you to bring with you?

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or knowledge by experience
  • Experience with remote analyses, diagnostics and problem solving
  • Experience with maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery is a plus
  • Knowledge of electronics and hydraulics
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Customer-oriented and proactive in finding solutions
  • Flexible and willing to travel, about 50%, also outside UK
  • In possession of a lorry truck driver’s license to transport AgBots for demonstrations is a plus
  • A creative and problem-solving mindset
  • Good and open communication skills in at least French and English. German or Dutch is a plus
  • Hands-on attitude
