What will be your tasks?
Within the role of System Administrator, you will play a key role in the management and maintenance of our IT systems and infrastructure. You will work together with external IT service providers where our servers are managed and software is developed. On a daily basis, you will be involved in the installation, management, monitoring and optimization of systems and networks. You are responsible for the management of our entire IT landscape where IT security is an important item.
- Responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our organization’s computer systems and networks.
- Administer and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and implement solutions accordingly.
- Investigate the needs the company has in the field of IT
- Performing regular security checks and backing up important data
- Installing and maintaining software and hardware systems within an organization
- Monitor the performance of systems, networks, and devices to identify and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Guide employees on how to use devices and software by writing manuals and creating protocols
- Keeping up to date with IT developments and trends
What do we want you to bring with you?
- MBO/HBO working and thinking level with a completed IT education;
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience;
- Knowledge of Microsoft products (Windows, Exchange, Office365, Azure), firewalls and routing (Cisco);
- Network Management;
- Good command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing;
- Good communication skills;
- Interest in continuing education in the field of information technology;
- A sociable and motivated colleague;
- A professional appearance and empathy;
- A team player who can also operate independently;
- Perseverance and eagerness to learn;
- Analytical, pragmatic and able to make connections;
